Note: All classes include a warm–up and cool–down period and adhere to the standards established by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America and Reebok University.
Class Descriptions
Aqua Fitness: Deep water aerobics (15-20 min.), water pilates (10 min.), water yoga (10 min.) with combinations of water tai chi, aquatic kickboxing, body sculpting and noodle workouts.
Basic Step: High-energy, low impact movements performed on and off a step platform with basic moves and simple combinations. Intensity level is determined by an adjustable step height.
Body Basics: 30-45 minutes of high-energy, low-impact aerobics or step followed by muscle conditioning exercises utilizing tubing or hand-held weights.
Body Sculpt: Muscle conditioning class utilizing light weights and bands to develop tone in both the upper and lower body.
Cardio Circuit: A blend of cardio training, hi/lo, kick box and more, alternated with light weights/bands.
Classic Nia: A creative and expressive fitness program blending styles and movements from diverse cultures. Blending elements from tai-chi, yoga, martial arts, modern and ethnic dance for a highenergy aerobic workout improving balance and flexibility and is adaptable to any fitness level.
Pilates: A comprehensive floor exercise workout that focuses on precise, concentrated movement using the mind to feel and focus the body. Movements emphasize building strong abdominals and lower back to enhance strength, muscular symmetry, posture and flexibility.
Step & Sculpt: 30-45 minutes of high-energy step choreography followed by muscle conditioning exercises utilizing tubing or hand-held weights.
Step: High-intensity, low impact choreographed movements performed on a step platform for the intermediate student.
Tri-Play: A combination of cardio training, strength and stretch designed to increase endurance and tone up your entire body.
Yoga: Increase clarity and concentration through yoga. Great for posture, flexibility, circulation and stress release. Using movement, postures, breathing and sound you can release physical, mental and emotional tensions and become stronger, more at ease and more centered.
Zumba: Exhilarating, effective, easy to follow, Latin inspired, calorie burning dance fitness class.
