Class Descriptions
Cardio Step and Sculpt: A portion of the class is a step aerobics cardio workout in conjunction with a total body strength and conditioning both weight bearing and non- weight bearing.
Low impact and sculpt: Get your heart rate up with aerobic activity that is easy on the joints. A portion of this class is spent sculpting with weights.
Nia: This fusion fitness workout offers a variety of movements from dance arts like jazz and modern dance to martial arts and yoga. The class is adaptable for all fitness levels.
Bikram yoga: This class focuses on some of the fundamental postures of Bikram yoga. Half of the class is done standing and the second half covers floor postures.
Hatha Yoga: Traditional Ananda style yoga with positive affirmations focusing on flexibility and strength while learning to breathe through postures and holding them to build endurance.
Senior Fit: This class helps to improve strength, balance, cardio as well as ease arthritis through the use of resistance bands, balls, blocks, weights. A chair may be used for assistance with balance.
Power Circuit: This class incorporates balance work and strength training exercises for the entire body through use of resistance bands, weights, and the stability ball.
Restorative yoga: A relaxing style of yoga to help restore the energy of body and mind. This class involves holding poses longer using props, the floor and the wall to stay supported and comfortable.
Power yoga: A more intense yoga workout. All levels are welcome and poses are adaptable to every fitness level.
Body Balance: Barre-inspired class which combines the flexibility of yoga, the grace of ballet and the strength of Pilates infused with physical therapy and a dash of dance cardio.
Stability ball: This workout is a great way to engage the core while toning the entire body on the ball. The class will also include floor work and the use of bands and Pilates balls.
