Dan Johnston teaches all levels of tennis and specializes in the mechanics of strokes and doubles strategies. He has been instructing for over 40 years at West End producing more than 40 Nationally ranked Juniors including; Lindsay Davenport (former #1 in the world), Pete Sampras (former #1 in the world), Jeff Tarango, Michael Joyce, Hana Mandlikova (former #3 in the world), Kathy Jordan (former #5 in the world) and Jason Jung (ranked Top Ten in the Nation as a junior).

Chris Legrand enjoys the technical aspects of the game of tennis with an emphasis on methodical stroke production. He has been coaching juniors and teaching tennis for 29 years. He got his start at the University Club of Palo Alto and Ladera Oaks Tennis Club while playing for Foothll College under Coach Tom Chivington. He worked as an apprentice instructor under John Whitlinger at Stanford University from 1992-95.

With a booming serve of 118 mph, he was twice ranked #1 in Southern California Men’s Singles. He played for Chapman College (inducted into their hall of fame in 2012) and USC.
